| bossman52's Full Review: Ripped Fuel |
Matt has been working out for about 7 years. He has had personal trainers, taken classes, worked with College Football Coaches, and more. Always asking questions, and always trying new supliments.
My Purpose
The purpose for me using this product was overall weight loss. I have used a suppliment called Xenadrine RFA-1 (which is not a reviewable item in epinions), and I had incredible results. Along with a workout everyday, I was able to lose 1.2 pounds per day.
But.. this is not the case with my experience using Ripped Fuel. I did not work out as much, but I did not lose ANYTHING. I honestly felt no real effects of using this suppliment. As with Xenadrine RFA-1 I felt my heart rate increase (very little). With XRFA-1 my heart rate increased VERY noticeably.
Following Directions
With both products I followed the directions to a Tee. And YOU SHOULD TOO! If you do not follow the directions you may get addicted or you may die. If you use this suppliment with a heart problem, pregnancy, etc it is VERY dangerous. Consult a doctor before using this stuff. And if you don't, at least consult some books or professional articles on it.
There have been deaths from this type of suppliment, but the number is very low. And about the same amount of people die from Tylenol a year. So, you may hear things, but a lot of it is from "anti-suppliment" types. If you follow directions, you will probably not have these problems. The problem is that most people get addicted or think they will lose more weight if they take more. This is not true. Your metabolism can only be lifted to a certain point and overloading it can actually backfire.
Mission Accomplished?
No. I really didn't lose any weight with this suppliment at all. I should reiterate that I didn't work out AS MUCH as with the other suppliment, but the fact is that I should have lost something. But I did not.
Side Effects
Again, read the bottle, follow the directions, and consult an outside source with some sort of professional credentials. You do not want to hurt yourself just to lose some weight. Also, you may even lessen your dossages to stretch them out over time. You won't get your results as fast, but you won't get addicted either.
What to Watch For
Anytime you find one of these "thermogenic" suppliments, be sure to see how much Ephedrine or Mu Huang is in it. High dosages can lead to real problems. This stuff happens to be too weak to actually work, but suppliments like Stacker 2 have TOO much, and can cause major heart problems. Ephedrine is also excreted in Breast Milk, and your child's heart cannot take it. The FDA recommends not taking suppliments with Ephedrine for more than 7 in a row.
According to the FDA 8 milligrams or
more of ephedrine alkaloids will be allowed per serving. Labeling that recommends or suggests conditions of use
that would result in an intake of 8 mg or more in a 6-hour period or a total daily intake of 24 mg or more also would not be allowed.
Overall
Overall this product has no advantages over X-RFA-1 that I can see other than it's about $10 cheaper. Cheaper is rarely better, and when it is you'll know by checking epinions. Except when they don't add the product. :P
