Remember when you were a kid and the whole family would go on outings or just gather in the back yard and cookout.After the cooking and eating was done then it was time to make the homemade ice cream.I just recently purchased the rival 5qt electric ice cream maker.I didn't wait for the family gatherings,I have already made ice cream three times in a little over a week.
It is so simple and with the guide book and recipes that comes with the ice cream maker anyone,and I mean anyone can make delicious homemade ice cream in a variety of flavors.By the way rival has these makers in 1qt up to 5qt models.
You will have fantastic tasting homemade ice cream in 20-30 minutes.All you need is your recipe ingredients,crushed ice and rock salt and your on your way.The book that comes with the maker has recipes for anyone,whether you are on a diet,diabetic or just getting fatter.
The ice cream is rich and tasty and you just add your favorite fruits or other ingredients.
The machine is fairly quiet,although is does make some noise.The bucket is made of sturdy plastic for easy cleaning.Thedasher,ice cream can,coverand motor drive are easy to assemble and cleaning after the fun is a breeze.It takes about 15-20 pounds of crushed ice.You put about two inches of ice then a layer of salt and then continue until the top is completely covered.
