| bassplyr2002's Full Review: Rockford Fosgate RFD2110 Car Subwoofer |
I was in search of the perfect sub for my new ford explorer. I was looking for something that had tight, clean bass that wouldn't be muddy at higher volumes. I listen to just about every genre of music so I was extremely picky about this component. I needed something that would knock my socks off when I wanted it to, but could also give the music just enough low end to make it sound really sweet. I tried several different types of subs such as MTX Thunder 8000, Infinity Perfect 10.1, Alpine Type R, and a few others. I finally picked up a pair of Rockford Punch HX2s and I was blown away with their versatility. These were the best subs for me hands down. I could blow you away with the technical info, but trust me, you'll want to experience these for yourself. Since I bought my first pair, I have upgraded my system. I currently run 12 of these with 6 Rockford Fosgate bd1000.1 mono block amps in my custom show vehicle. The sound is awsome and powerful, but it's a controlled sound and nothing is forced. Try these!!!
