When my son was 6 months old, we got him the Little Tikes Rocking Horse. At that time he was just starting to crawl. We put him on the horse and slowly rocked him. He held on to the sturdy handles and really seemed to enjoy it.
The product itself is very sturdy and made of hard durable plastic. Like all Little Tike products, there are no sharp edges. It rocks very well on any surface, even carpet.
This smoothly rounded cute “horsy” rocker has a high seat back with easy-grip handles and an easy-mount, low seat designed for safety.
When rocking, your toddlers can rest their feet on the wide runner for balance and control.
One Issues:
When my son was older, around 18 months, he would stand on the rocker like a surf board. But if you are supervising your child, there shouldn’t be any issues. You’re not going to leave a child that age alone anyway.
Recommendation:
Your toddler will love it even before they are walking. Just remember to keep a close eye on them when they are on the horse.
