I have suffered with heartburn on and off for several years. Well it has been since April 9, 2001, to be exact. Usually it only lasted Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm until the last nine months or so.
Usually a couple of Rolaids, Tums or some other antacid worked well. For the really tough heartburn I would use Alka-Seltzer and that would get rid of it for the rest of the day.
Since just before the holidays, the heartburn started lasting all day and into the night. I was miserable. I felt like I was going to burst into flames; I wouldn’t mind if it has gotten rid of all the paperwork on my desk.
I was getting to the point where I felt that I was buying Rolaids and Tums by the gross. Someone would ask for one I would say, sure just let me get the ol’ hand truck out so that I can carry them to you.
Whoa, this is getting out of control here so I started looking for something else, something more portable, and something that had a different taste as I was getting so tired of all those exotic flavors. You can only take blueberry flambé, prancing papaya and sultry strawberry just so long then you get nauseated just at the thought of them.
Since I was getting ready to go on a cruise I wanted something that I could carry in my purse and not have to use as carry-on baggage. That is when I noticed the nice lady at Wal-Mart offering a sample of the brand spanking new fresh off the production line Rolaids Antacid Soft Chews, Vanilla Crème.
Oh, praise be, something in a normal flavor, Vanilla Crème not vamping vanilla. I tasted it and it was quite good, rather tasty if you ask me so I purchase a box from the kind lady that was working so hard.
The Rolaids Antacid Soft Chews, Vanilla Crème are made by the Pfizer Corporation. The company that brings you a lot of quality pet supplies and medications.
There is nothing outstanding about the box. It is in a box shape made out of cardboard with Rolaids written on the outside in Black.
Inside the box there are three foil wrapped sticks with six of those yummy little squares in it.
Well, the next day the heartburn returned right on schedule at 8am sharp. Now is the time to put these yummy little squares to the test. They are the color of coffee with a lot of cream in it and the texture of a Tootsie Roll. Nice and chewy, not crumbly and dry tasting. You could really enjoy these even though they are medication for heartburn.
The Pfizer Corporation says that you can have two to three of these per hour. Since these are supposed to be extra strength why would a person need that many per hour unless you particularly wanted to use them as candy which I don’t recommend.
I took the full three and it just slightly reduced the burning sensation that I was having. I felt like a dragon on a bad day.
The next hour I did the same. By that time I had completed the full dose of six in a 24-hour period and still had heartburn.
I guess it was time to change the way I ate and the things that I was eating. I did this and still no relief.
Then my vacation came around and I didn’t have heartburn except one time when I over indulged in some great Italian Food, then the Rolaids Antacid Soft Chews, Vanilla Crème worked very well. The bloat and heartburn were gone in minutes after taking two of the chews.
I am now on prescription medication for the chronic heartburn that I have. The Rolaids Antacid Soft Chews, Vanilla Crème do work well when you don’t have other contributing factors besides diet like I did.
I highly recommend these. They taste great and they do work. If for some reason they are not working and you keep heartburn, see your doctor and let them do a work-up.

Directions:
Chew 2 to 3 chews, hourly if needed. Other information·each chew contains: calcium 471 mg. Store at 59° to 77°F in a dry place.
