I am a huge fan of giant fortune cookies! I have sent them for everything from a new baby to graduations to birthdays to new homes and they have always been a big hit. This month I bought one that came with a little extra bonus: a sweet, soft bear.
The Giant Fortune Cookie
The Giant fortune cookies is not only big, but it is edible - and good! I mention this, because I sent one to a friend (after she got a promotion) and she loved it but thought it was something to display! No, it is to eat!
This particular cookie is available in Belgian chocolate, caramel, peanut butter and strawberry. The cookie they have has red, white and pink sprinkles over the topping.
The fortune is my favorite part! You write the "fortune" yourself so it is unique and personal. You can make it cute: You will have many sleepless nights (for a new baby)
sweet: I am so "fortunate" to have you for a friend
corny: Confucius say... or even, you are one smart cookie for the graduate.
Normally you can write up to 5 lines but it would depend on the amount of words in each line.
The 12-inch fortunes are a fun keepsake which can be added to a scrapbook or mounted (on a bedroom accent color) and put up in a child's room.
The Bear
The cute bear is a light brown with beige little paw pads. It comes with a dark red bow tied around his/her neck and is made by Ross. It is close to eleven inches tall and very, very soft! It is a great size as it is small enough to sit on a bedroom shelf and yet big enough to hug.
The Packaging GaVooN does a great job in packaging their giant fortune cookies, making them even more special to receive. They are enclosed in cellophane, which is closed by ribbon. It is then placed inside a white box where it is protected even more by tissue paper before. The final bow is added on the outside of the white box and the gift is ready to give!

There are a lot of things to like about this gift set. They refer to it as "Romantic Lil' Fur Tune & Giant Gourmet Fortune Cookie" but it could be used for many different occasions. It would all depend on what type of message you wrote.
I send one to a 6 year old - she loved the GIANT cookie (which she thought she should eat all by herself), the message (just for her) and her special "lovey" bear. three gifts in one! I am giving it 4.75 stars, marked down just a bit since they don't offer all their cookies with the bear.
