Pros: Ease of use, knows where to go and how to get there!
Cons: Kinda loud, turn it off to talk on phone,then again who can talk while vacuuming!
The Bottom Line: GO FOR IT - YOU WON'T REGRET IT!

I had just moved across country and did not bring the old vacuum so when going to buy a new one I thought, sure, why not, I'll try it. WOW! What a wonderful gadget.
I bought the economy red ROOMBA first and loved it. I have 2 pugs that shed, shed, shed. And keeping up on the hair is a pain. But now I just pick up the big items and away it goes. I was very excited when one month later I got another roomba for Christmas with a max cleaning time and a remote (okay, now that is laaaazzzyy!-if only it would empty itself). But really the remote is great because I can make it go to a certain area and make sure it got all the dirt and hair. I was going to sell the economy model but I think I will use it for the screened porch. Believe me when I say I will never use a regular vacuum again - it is the household chore I disliked the most. Even if the thing breaks down I will be right out there getting it fixed or getting a new one. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!
