Different Scent - Same Rosebud Results
Written: Aug 15, 2007

Pros:Nice Scent, Very Moisturizing
Cons:Price, melts easily in a hot car
Rosebud's Strawberry version works as miraculously as the original rose-scented version. I like to say that the original "fixed my lips" - I have horrible chapped lips regardless of the weather.
On a recent trip, I had left behind any sort of lip balm and was suffering from airplane dryness and sunburn, my lips were in bad shape! I ran into a beauty shop and discovered the Strawberry scented version and was elated! I was never totally happy with the 'rosebud' scent (kind of reminds me of an old lady). But this scent was modern, cute, and had a certain charm about it's packaging.
When used on a regular basis (2 to 3 times a day) it can repair chapped lips and skin (cuticles, elbows). I typically apply it before my lipstick. It not only moisturizes my lips, but makes the makeup go on much smoother.
The only drawback I found was that it melts easily in the slightest of hot cars. Because it's so soft, it tends to melt to the side, making the cap hard to remove.
