Rowenta is an Amazing Iron
Written: Aug 15, 2010
Rated a Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:Loaded with many great features as mentioned above, Great ironing experience.
Cons:The price might be too high for some people and heavier than most irons.
The Bottom Line: 400 steam holes gor great steam and verticle steam for hanging clothes. Effortless ironing experience.
Introduction I like most people have owned several different clothes irons and steamers in their lifetime thus far. This is the first time that I have purchased a Rowenta, I have to be honest, I had never heard of the brand before my purchase. This iron is like no other iron that I have owned or seen before now. The Rowenta Focus has over 100 years of excellence and is made in Germany, which produces some of the worlds most automobiles. They are one of the worlds largest manufacturers of irons.
Features
Here are some of the features; Burst of steam that is powerful enough to removes wrinkles from different fabrics.
This iron gives you verticle steam to from and refresh clothes that are hanging up and drapes as well.
Adjust steam automatically to soleplate temperature
Self clean system- flushes out loose mineral deposits
Helps prevent accidental water spills and spotting High precision tip for getting into the smallest area, and the tip is stainless steel.
3 way smart shutoff- it switches off if iron is left unattended for 8 minutes standing and 30 seconds if on the fabric or horizontal.
anti drip system
Micro steam sysytem with 400 holes and effortless glide and advanced steam distribution.
Summary
This is the best iron I have ever owned and I have owned many different brands in my lifetime. This iron give me precision, effortless ironing for absolutely great looking clothes. I really like the verticle steam as I have hanging clothes that as you know will accumulate wrinkles just hanging there. Hey, it really works and removes wrinkles and makes your clothes look good. The only negative thing is that it is a little heavier than most other brands of irons and the price is higher than most other brands of home irons. I purchased this one at Belk and it cost around $100.00 dollars, but it is well worth the price with all its features. Everyone has different taste but I would recommmend it to anyone who wants quality.
