Pros: The most value for your invested dollar. Great find!
Cons: The staterooms are incredibly small and the showers will often clog.
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is that should you be considering a cruise in the future, this is the one to reserve. The food is impeccable and the islands are awesome.

| kingwedding's Full Review: Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas |
Imagine white beaches, the warmth of the rays from the sun caressing your shoulder, and all the food and fanfare one can imagine and you have just visualized the ultimate vacation. The Royal Caribbean Adventure of the Seas offers several Caribbean ports of call on the 7 day excursion including Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Martin/St. Maarten, and St. Croix.
The Caribbean islands were nothing short of amazingly beautiful. I chose this cruise for the simple fact that you are able to visit several Caribbean islands in one vacation and in a short window of time. What I loved the most about the cruise was the lively atmosphere. You will visit the ports of call listed above during the day and then the cruise leaves the port and is considered "at sea" during the evening while traveling to another port of call where the ship will dock in the early morning. During the evening, the cruise offers two dinner seatings - an early and a late dinner. Following dinner, there are several activities including karaoke, bingo, a Vegas style Casino, Vegas style performances, art auctions, a Champagne Bar, a Jazz club, "Jesters" a unique night club (and a unique experience), and generally an 80s party one evening, a 70s party another evening, and a deck party replete with a midnight buffet near the end of the cruise. Do not forget to pack your formal attire. This cruise offers at least two formal nights. Not in the mood for dressing up? You may make reservations for the evening at one of the cruise's fine dining restaurants or grab a bite at the seemingly endless buffet at the casual Windjammer Cafe.
Once you have had the opportunity to enjoy the rock climbing wall, grab a scoop of Ben and Jerry's ice cream, and eat and dance to Elvis at Johnny Rockets on the upper decks, you can engage in some shopping on Deck 5 at the General Store and other specialty boutiques located right on the ship. This cruise is very family friendly and offers several activities for children and one of the nicest arcades I have seen in awhile. If relaxation is more your style, visit the spa where you can enjoy a deep tissue, hot rock massage. My favorite!!! A massage therapist even recommended this amazing muscle relaxing lotion-like cream of which I wish I had purchased more than one bottle.
The attire on this cruise is very casual and the staff is second to none. I have been on two other cruises with different cruise lines, but this one far surpasses those. For instance, my dress needed pressing for the first formal night so I left a note attached to the dress and laid it on my bed before leaving to go on my land excursion and the room steward had it delivered to the on board cleaners, steam-pressed, and returned to my room before our dinner seating time. Now that is true service!
I would suggest that you attempt to take a land excursion at every port of call if at all possible. You can find information about the various excursions at the guest services desk or you can watch descriptions of the excursions on your stateroom television and even order the ones you would like to experience. My favorites were the visit to the sugar plantation, Cambrola Beach, and the visit to the natural waterfall where we were all able to enjoy a cool and refreshing swim.
This ship also offers the nicest conference center for family reunion gatherings, receptions, or corporate events.
As a closing note, I would suggest you get out into the cities, enjoy the people, and taste some of the local fare. This is the only way to truly experience all that these naturally beautiful islands have to offer. This ship was exceptional in every respect, and the decor was quite stylish.
