Pros: Construction, performance, dust collection, ease of belt change
Cons: Dust bag hard to clean
I just purchased the Ryobi BE321 and have used it for a few hours. Personally, I am very pleased with the construction and performance of this tool. I have not experienced any tendency to rut or groove any type of wood from IPE (extremely hard wood) to pine using 50 to 120 grit belts. The BE321 is reasonably quiet compared to the Black & Decker I have. I am especially impressed with the dust collection system's efficiency, but the zippered opening on the bad is only about 4 inches long, which does not lend to easy emptying. For a belt sander under $100, it is a great buy.
