| mschul2299's Full Review: Ryobi Cth1202k2 12v Cordless Drill/Driver Kit |
I recently purchased the 12Volt model with the flashlight combo and two batteries at Home Depot. I must have tried a dozen other 12Volt models including the Craftsman Professional, Bosch, Porter Cable, DeWalt, Black and Decker, Makita and Milwaukee. None felt as well balanced and light in my hand which is a key element of using a cordless drill for long periods of time.
The other factors that make this drill so attractive is the ability to rest the tool standing up on a counter. Many of the other drills have to be put down on their side because they haven't the right balance or the tool has no large flat surface, like the Makita. The one hand keyless chuck is a pleasure to use. The other two very important factors are the price, which I found to be cheaper than most of the others, and the two year warranty.
I have enjoyed working with this "workhorse" of a drill and recommend it highly.
