| JonK's Full Review: Ryobi Cth1202k2 12v Cordless Drill/Driver Kit |
I purchased this drill two years ago at Menards after my Black and Decker cordless drill was stolen from my garage. The Ryobi was only $79.00 so I should have known that it was too good to be true.
I like the fact that the kit comes with two 12 volt batteries. This is handy for doing alot of drilling. The carrying case is nice also.
I don't care for the amount of torque this drill puts out. It seems like I can almost stop the thing with my bare hands. Even with the torque setting turned all the way up, the drill is under-powered. Also, the keyless chuck doesn't stay firmly closed.
Although this drill is OK for most around the house tasks I won't buy another when it comes time to replace it. I think a DeWalt or even a Craftsman would do a much better job.
