My parents picked this scanner up a couple years ago for real cheap. I think it was like $50 after a rebate. Since we don't do much scanning this is all we really needed.
The main problem with this scanner is that it takes about a minute and 45 seconds warmup time before actually scanning and the scanning takes at least a minute. I think it's a good enough tradeoff to pay less for less speed instead of less quality.
The scans that it does are decent enough. It came with lots of software that is relatively easy to use though not simple at all.
There isn't much else to say about this, it's just a simple, value priced scanner.
