Pros: What can I say, it is far superior than flying a plane with a keyboard.
Cons: Yoke sometimes sticks when you release it back to a neutral position.
The Bottom Line: The replay value and real world control references more than pay for themselves. I would recommend getting a yoke and pedals to complete the experience!

I bought this product to enhance the realism I enjoy with Microsoft's Flight Simulator 2004.
Aircraft controls
Each basic aircraft flight control is covered and is modeled on the yoke. You can manipulate the throttle, flaps, landing gear, prop pitch, trim and lean adjustment from the Yoke controller.
This is a plus for those of us want to see the familiar control layouts from planes we are learning in. You can use these controls in the sim too. If you need to lean the mixture at cruise altitude (an engine control for the fuel mixture), you just move the mixture control knob on the yoke.
I love that it is USB and most all modern aviation games recognize it without having to install new drivers.
My only quirk with this yoke is that after a couple of years the Yoke tends to stick when releasing it from a previously pulled out or pushed in position. It is due to the loss of elasticity in the rubber band like connectors that act to return the yoke to a neutral position after it has been manipulated. This should be easy enough to remedy. However, I just find myself having to push the yoke in a little after I execute a pulling action while flying.
