Great Printer but overall is too expensive!

My Dad builds and sells computers for a living, so I was given this for some kind of special occasion. We have a digital camera, so I was very excited to have a photo-printing printer. But the truth is, for the money I'm sure there is a much better printer out there. For starters, it prints completely SLOW...not just SLOW...DEAD SLOW! When it's printing in just black ink, everything's a lot happier. This things takes up a lot of desk space too, so make sure you are considering that when buying one. The biggest con of mine about this printer is that the photo cartridge is EXPENSIVE, almost an exorbatant amount of money. I have looked at discount stores and never seen the photo cartridge for this thing below $45. It is very expensive to keep up in the way of cartridges. If you are in the market for a photo printer, try to avoid this one.
