I purchased this printer because I did extensive research on other brands and found that for the money, this looked like the one! I have had it for about six months now and it is well worth the money. The printing is very crisp and clear on documents and the photographs are just like a professional printer has produced them. I made my Christmas cards this year and the comments that I am receiving is astounding. The only drawback that I have found so far is the price of the ink cartridges. Two are required, so keep extras on hand, as you cannot use the printer if one of the cartridges goes dry. The Create-A-Card program that comes with the printer is superb. This printer is easy to keep clean and has very low maintenance. I have my scanner in use with this printer and the possibilities are endless with this configuration. I had an HP LazerJet III, before this one, and I find that this is just as good for my use. I don't know how it would hold up with high volume, but for average use, it is great. It does print a little slower than I would like, but for the quality of the finished product, I'll wait a couple more minutes!
