| bris_2's Full Review: KDS Visual Sensations 195E CRT Monitor |
I bought this monitor for less then $250 (I live outside the US so I have paid more, I think in the states its about 220-240USD or so) this is very cheap because Big brand name monitors
like SONY or LG Flatron are about 400 at least.
Yeah, right its not the exactly True-wall-like-flat monitor you get from CRT tubes like sony's new WEGA-FD but its close to flat.
Actually I think the tube is made by Hitachi (so its very good thing because they make about the 1/3 of all the tubes around the world), But I think I saw on their site that is was made by Samsung.
I was upgrading (I know some sony fans wont call it upgrade but down-grade...but I have sold him for almost the price I bought the KDS) from Gateway VX700, its a Sony Trinitron monitor - although not flat as the new wega based monitors is was vertically flat, and for the few first days with the KDS-vs-195e I couldnt stand it (ask my wife) because I was so used to the trinitron, but after couple of days (maybe a week or so) I get used to it and now I have it for about 3 monthes and I very satisfied with, I think its a great product for the money.
BTW now when I look at a sony at my friends I dont know what all the fuss is about, I think my KDS is just great.
The only special monitor I saw lately was the new SAMSUNG line of FlatSynch (or something like this I cant remember the exact name) its looked very good ( i think even better then a wega) - but Im happy with what I've got,
Our ancestors used to say:
"Who is the rich ? The one who happy with his part",
Think about it....
