Pros: 128 Bit graphics
Cons: Lack of good resolution support
The Bottom Line: I don't recomend this card to anyone who wants high resolution, I'd rather have the S3. Savage 4.

| htown1397's Full Review: Rio Diamond Viper II, (32 MB) AGP Video Card |
The computer that I bought a year ago had an ATI Rage 128. Well, since at that time there was allot of hype about the Viper II. I went out and spent about 200 dollars, to buy this card. And when I got home I took out my ATI 128 and put in my new Viper II. As soon as I got it installed and restarted, my computer froze. It did so until it had to be installed with new drivers, ordered directly from the company, which took about 4 weeks to get to my house. When I finally got the card running, I hooked up Quake 3 to it, and it had amazing graphics, better than the Rage 128 on 800*600 resolution. When I put it on 1200*1000 resolution, it started to lag. I took a couple of steps, and the game froze, and it did till I finally got it replaced, with the S3. Savage 4 card, which work whole lot better on 1200*1000 resolution and had better graphics.
