Well I don't own the ATP 3 but I do own the 5's. It is crystal clear sound. Fully expressing the effects of anything it plays even the stuff I download over the net. These speakers allow great effect for movies as well for songs, giving good turnout to the bass and treble. This product makes sure that everything you hear is heard how it was meant to be heard. There is no rattling from the sub and, if you want the ATP 5's, gives the full surround sound effect justice making it seem like you are outside. These speakers, though they seen expensive, are all worth the pay because you won't have to buy another pair. The four year warrantee offered by COMP USA secures your purchase for that time span so if you're looking for a new set just return them to COMP saying that something is wrong with it. What I would do would purchase a number of sets and return the ones you're unhappy with. Most electronic stores have good return policies as long as it isn't software. g/l to you all.
*The speakers work really well for DVD's
