Pros: stylish and compact
Cons: bit of a loud amp
The Bottom Line: Get these speakers if your not going to play music loud and on a budget looking for a brand name set. only major con for me is the loud amp.

If your on a tight budget and dont really need the head banging experience of more powerful speakers, than these are just the set for you. I had my previous set of speakers die on me and it took a while to get a brand name set of speakers. being on a budget of AUD$200 (USD$100) and having limited choices, the atp3 was just perfect.
i was first skeptical as to how these speakers would perform... and also looking for speakers that have volume, power, treble and bass controls on the speakers instead of the the sub narrowed my choices greatly. i frankly find it stupid as to why manufacturers put controls on the sub... i mean who are going to crawl on the floor to change a setting...
the no headphone jack would be a backdraw, however for me i have a gtxp so this was of no concern. DO NOT get these speakers if you want to play you music loud... as the treble will distort and the bass will sound muddy.
i do find the sub a bit weak... but then again if you put artificial bass enhancement on thats taken care of. i wish they made the speaker wires a tad longer so you could spread them out a bit... also if the grills were cloth and detachable wouldve been a bonus...
sound quality is exceptional at mid volume for mids... havent had the chance to test out the highs yet. the bass like i said is a bit weak, however it still sounds good and doesnt sound boomy. the bass mixes in well with the sats, thx to the helping hand of the 3" drivers.
also do not let my price quote deter you... i live in aus where everything is slow and expensive :/
