The Altec Lansing ATP3 (3 piece speaker system) is a great buy. Out of all the computer speaker systems I have tested this sounded the best by a longshot. Quality sound and thumping bass made this my top pick for computer speaker systems. Priced moderately and made with quality components make this 3 piece speaker system a great buy! The flat panel design for the speakers helps to conserve space while still allowing for great sound. The subwoofer is a bit bulky, but all in all it produces nice bass. The volume/bass/treble controls on the left speaker are easy to use and conveniently located. I've owned this 3 piece set for 2 years now and the sound is just as crisp and clear as the day I bought it. Altec Lansing is one of the premier brands when it comes to computer audio equipment, and this is no exception.
