Pros: Absolutely terrific printer. Fast, duplex standard, lotsa paper capacity, never jams
Cons: None really, Takes 30 seconds to warm up from power save mode.
The Bottom Line: An incredible printer even at $499 if you print a lot of pages and want fast, easy, double-sided, and cheap printing

Best printer I've ever owned. I second everything the other review said. This printer is incredibly fast in both single and double sided mode, has a lot of input and output capacity (with the offset unit I got for free). I have no complaints at all except that it takes 30 seconds to warm up for the first print if it is in power save mode. I bought the printer for about $200 refurb from compgeeks.com, with a one year warranty, and the built in duplex unit and the offset output unit that allows you to print a full 250 pages before it fills up. There are a million options for paper, and you can buy 500page trays for about $99 or less online. I also bought a toner refill kit for $24 on Ebay, and will try it when the toner runs out. Toner cartridges are $80 on Ebay, and will last from 10,000 to 20,000 pages depending on the darkness of the print setting and whether you use Economy mode. This means that toner costs are less than 1/2 cent per page. Figure a ream of paper costs $2.00 (I buy cheap paper), it means that printing 20,000 pages would either cost $160 total or $120 if you print two-sided. That's pretty awesome having a total cost of less than one cent per page with paper and toner.
Another advantage over other printers is that it is like HP, the toner and drum is an integrated unit, so you don't have to worry about replacing expensive drums like with Brother printers.
I love this printer. Keep checking compgeeks.com to see if they get it back in stock.
