Pros: A dependable, efficient and effective printer for home or light office use.
Front loading.
Cons: Costly color cartridge; leading edge jam on cardstock work.
The Bottom Line: Kept lint free the cartridges & printhead functions well, puts out a reasonable SPM product but will not likely be cost effective when compared to newer printers with lower costs.

| sell2u2's Full Review: Hewlett Packard DeskJet 660c InkJet Printer |
This printer was included in a Computer package in 1995. Aside from some card stock jams(business cards etc) it has performed perfectly and has had NO downtime in seven years. It originally handled card stock sheets well but failed to load a single sheet of paper once and created a multi-paper jam back when it was newer. In trying to clear the jam some of the small roller bail fingers got bent a little. It was not sent for repair and I managed to adjust the fingers a little to allow a little better handling of cardstock-all papers are handled well.
A sturdy adaptor was included for it and it's drivers were pre-installed but are still available on the Net. It will use non HP ink cartridges (Ko-Rec etc)with a rare nozzle plugging but I have chosen to bypass refilling and substitute cartridges in favor of HP replacements.
