Solid speakers if you don't need big bass

Pros: Solid sounds, solid quality. Earphone jack in the front

I bought these speakers to use with my new system. The one's that came with the system were sad and probably didn't cost the manufacturer more than a buck. I've got a young son, so I won't be ready for big sound for a few years, don't want the wife yelling at me for waking him up. The main reason I got them was for the solid knobs and the convenient earphone jack in the front. Sound is good, but not very deep. All around a solid set of speakers for someone that wants a bit more than the cheap ones.
