Pros: Cheap. Versatile. Reliable in a sense.

Cons: Scans are streaked. Terrible warranty service. Broke down after 18 months.

The Bottom Line: I'm torn. I guess It's good if you can get it cheap and throw it away.

Never did work on one computer; had to use it with the other one. Software conflicts and malfunctions require constant reboots. Now, 18 months after buying, paper feeds crooked and then jams, and I have to replace it.

BUT it has given me lots of scans on which the streaks haven't been too horrible, and the fax part works fine, probably because I almost never use it.

Definitely do not pay extra for extended warranty service on this item. The service I got was worse than useless.
