Battery is unacceptable

Pros: Great size and weight

Cons: Warranty on battery is only one month

The Bottom Line: Great size but battery lifetime and poor warranty overrides benefits

I was very interested but when I discussed the warranty with the salesperson I was surprised to find out about the poor One Month warranty on the battery.

I previously had problems with an NEC so I was aware of battery problems. (NEC replaced theirs.) I am sensitive to this problem.

I did a search on this Sony problem and found this recent article from Infoworld!!!

I really can't imagine how Sony can take the risk at damaging their reputation like this!

Please take care when you evaluate this computer and get extra batteries added to the package or don't bother!
