This laptop comes with a Quick Recovery CD that can recover your drive C to factory condition using an image saved on drive D. Drive D takes up 1.36 GB of hard drive space leaving only 4.21 GB for drive C.
They have a separate Quick Restore CD that cost $10 extra that lets you restore to factory condition from the CD. This CD should have been provided for free.
The system uses 4MB from the 64MB RAM for the graphics display leaving only 60MB RAM.
I am not sure why, it could be Windows Me or the 60 MB RAM, but this computer is very slow and crashes about once a day.
Due to the Quick Restore CD not being including I will never buy another Compaq notebook.
