| ApollyonDevil's Full Review: Guillemot ThrustMaster NASCAR Pro Digital 2 Wheel ... |
I've had several wheels in my PC Sim racing career and the Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital 2 is by far the best.
With an USB connection the response and accuracy on the controls are pin point.
The wheel itself could use one improvement in that it lacks grip on the top portion of the wheel. This is a horrible flaw but it is worth noting. If you drive at 10 and 2 you should not have a problem with this wheel. The TNPD2 (Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Digital 2) and 4 buttons on the wheel itself along with a stick shifter and Formula 1 style paddle shifters. The wheel does lack a HUD control but you can live without one.
The pedals are top-notch. They have spring resistance which will make your braking and accelerating more accurate. The base of the pedals is a little on the light side which allows for some travel unless you put something behind them.
This wheel is well worth the $70 if you are in the market for a new wheel.
