Pros: Accommodates a lot of Ram memory and different sizes of CPU's. VERY cheap price.
Cons: Is not jumperless so it is a bit harder to set-up than some other boards.
The Bottom Line: I would personally recommend this board for anyone. The price is excellent and the performance is outstanding for the price. A lot of board for a little money.

First of all I would like to say that the price of these boards is exceptional for all of the features it has to offer.
This board has a LOT of positive features.
1. It will accommodate both Pentium II and Pentium III Slot 1 chips in virtually every size out there and high speed hardrives.
2. Another plus is that this board is overclockable as well.
3. And if that is not enough, it will support way over a Gig of Ram memory.
4. In addition it has plenty of slots for cards, both PCI and ISA for those of you out there that have older cards you would like to use.
5. It has an over-heat alarm on it that will warn you if your CPU is getting too hot. If you prefer not to use this it can be disabled in the BIOS.
Even though there are jumpers to set, the book fully explains how to set it up for the particular CPU size and Bus speed you are using. There are three jumpers that need to be set-up in order to make the board work. There is no way to make a mistake on this unless you don't read the book thoroughly.
I built three systems with these boards and never had a problem from the get go with them.
On the negative side there are two things that I would like mention. The first is the slot where you plug in the power is in a bad location. It is located towards the back of the CPU Chip. This makes the power supply wires just stretch enough to plug it in. This can cause possible heat problems. My chip seemed to run a little hotter than it normally should, but it was still within the safe limits. I never had any performance problems because of it however.
The second negative that I would like to mention is that with the earlier VIA chipset in this board you needed to install special drivers to make some hardware perform properly. I personally think the VIA chipsets are very good. On benchmarking the VIA chipset supposedly performs slower than Intel chipsets, however this did not seem to be in my case. I was able to play all the games I wanted and run all the software I wanted with no problem. Since this board was put out there have been new VIA chipsets produced which perform even better and if they do then the boards made with them are probably exceptional.
These two negatives were far outweighed by the positives. They were not significant as far as performance and I overlooked them and used the boards with great success.
Although I have not used other Soyo Motherboards I would not hesitate to use other ones because the quality seems to be there.
