The quietest 16x DVD drive out there

Pros: Fast, quiet, extracts audio better than any other DVD-ROM.

Cons: None

The Bottom Line: It's fast it works and its quiet, why else would you want a DVD-ROM.

Ever since I have been into computers. I am always trying to find the cream of the crop in every particular component. And when it comes to DVD-ROM's Toshiba takes the cake. I have yet to find a quieter or faster DVD drive. I owned an Acer before getting the Toshiba. Reason being that there weren't any Toshiba drives in stock. And I also thought, "how much better con it be anyway?" But when the Acer took a dive and decided to stop reading CD disks I knew it was time to get the Toshiba. Plus Toshiba sells a lot of OEM drives, making it easy to get this drive for under $70. For anyone looking to get a DVD drive for their computer, Toshiba is the way to go.
