Pros: Everything. Runs like a glove.
Cons: If the fan is plugged into FAN2 instead of FAN1, the computer will not boot
The Bottom Line: This is a great motherboard for anyone who wants one. It's cheap, runs great and has everything you will need probably until they reinvent the processor.

| JDHannan's Full Review: Abit KT7 Motherboard |
After suffering through the massive load of BS i did with Gigabyte and their awful motherboard, and then my old P120's motherboard for a long time, i was definitely in need of a new system. I was wary of AMD in general but I had actually heard some good things of it lately, especially in the monetary side. Looking at the P3/P4 processors at $800-$1000(CDN) and the Thunderbird at $220, I was quickly swayed to AMD. I asked my friends and people on the internet, #computers on EFNET and read reviews. The ABIT KT7-A was far and away the best motherboard available. The ASUS was the first one on the market and therefore, old and i wouldn't touch another Gigabyte motherboard save to break it into tiny pieces. Excuse the Gigabyte bashing, you just don't understand.
The ABIT had the 133mhz bus which adds great speed to your system, the BIOS set up was easy to use and offered more and better options than i've seen on any other system. And when you boot up and you see all those huge numbers - 262144kb of RAM, 100x10.0 Processor, it all makes me glad I bought this motherboard.
It even went into the case nicely, fit right in there and everything.
Oh, one bad thing though, i've consistently had problems getting the Flash BIOS drivers from their ABIT's webpage. But, i'm not positive they have newer drivers than the ones i have now.
Good Stuff.
