Don't waste your money if this is your 1st scanner

Cons: NOT A GOOD 1st scanner....it is hard to install, manual not detailed enough

I got this scanner as a gift a few years ago. I found it hard to install. Customer Service for Mustek was MIA. The only information I could get was from Mustek's web site.

Once my husband figured out how to install it I found the manual to not be helpful at all. I will admit I am not computer savy but I would expect the manual to have simple step by step directions. It did not. I pretty much have figured out how to use it by trial and error. I use it primarily for copying photos.

I also feel that this scanner is a little bulky. It takes up too much room on my desk top.

I am presently looking for a new scanner.
