Once upon I time I bought a computer and I had a couple of small, not so bad (but not good) couple of genius speakers. Then I decided to upgrade my whole computer sound system (which happens to be my ONLY sound system). I started with a Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Gamer. It was great, but I knew it was not meant to be used with those speakers I had. So I went out and bought the FPS 1000. From the first minute I plugged them in I knew my sound card had its match made in... Creative? hehehe
Anyone wanting great sound out of his/her computer could make a good use of this set. One of my friends heard them and within a week he bought one set for himself.
Since I had the SB Live, I had also four speaker output/sound coming out of them since the first time I used them. The subwoofer makes a good job and the not-remote speaker volume control comes in very handy. Anyway, I've also heard this speakers working with a standard one-exit sound card and they're still great.
I would recommend them to anyone wanting a nice set of speakers at a fair price. My computer has never sound better.
