Pros: Compact design, Integrated speaker/LCD monitor design.
Cons: Poor keyboard design, poor upgrade ability, problematic LCD monitor
The Bottom Line: Compact design is nice and clean. Tight keyboard (with lack of keys) is not ideal. [Possible] problematic monitor design and poor customer service make for a challenging
repair when needed.

I was drawn to this unit by its sleek compact design, LCD monitor with integrated speakers, memory stick port, Pen tablet feature and by the SONY name and experience.
After only 16 short months it is clear that I made a fatal investment which was based largely on emotion.
I’ve encounter a problem with the monitor which I have learned is not isolated. The monitor goes black with white lines. A simple flick of the monitors case and the monitors
‘desktop’ reappears as though nothing had happened.
I wouldn’t give thumbs up on SONY’s customer support, as they’ve been less than enthusiastic about providing customer satisfaction. For a mere $809.84, SONY is willing
to repair and return the unit, guaranteeing proper service for at least 90-days. For only $300.00 more, I can purchase a complete “refurbished” unit.
Now ... assuming the monitor was without defect or fault, I'd still share with you that SONY's keyboard design is poor. The tight keypad layout and design, combined with the lack of dedicated 'Page Up', 'Page Down', 'Home' and 'End' keys makes the keyboard awkward (at best) to operate. The vertical CD drive isn't ideal either.
I’ve known SONY to provide quality products, having owned products ranging from digital cameras, 8mm cameras, audio and video equipment -- with “complete” satisfaction.
The purchase and lack of support on my SONY PCV-LX900 has sharply shifted my original long standing opinions of SONY.
