Thank you, I enjoyed reading that! Just last week I told my husband that my natural "spunk" was croaking! Day after day of valley fog was getting to me. See, all I needed was some sunshine and a new notebook!

I have to agree with this. I have a Compaq 1220 Lap top that is SUCH a piece of junk. I've had so many problems with it freezng up, battery not holding a charge, etc. I wish you luck with yours! I hate Compaq lap tops and will never recommend one because of the trouble I've had with mine. Your review was good however.

Our hard drive died on our Compaq and after the major trouble that customer service put us through, I will never buy from Compaq again. I am working on my Epinion on Compaq, but that is sure to be a long one.

You should listen to George and stop pressing the screen; a friend of mine broke his laptop screen by doing that and they are really expensive to replace.
