Pros: Fast, easy to use, doesn't break
Cons: expensive, heavy, mouse movement, CD-RW is only 4X.
The Bottom Line: This computer is as problem free as they get. If something does happen, the Tech support is not only shocked, but helpful too.

This Toshiba is an exellent computer. It has everything I wanted and need and more. It is extremely easy to use, and my major complaint is that the CD burner is too slow.
The toshibas are infamous for their little nub mouse things in the center of the keyboard. I like them, once I got used to it, it is much easier to use and more egronomically correct.
In my experience with Toshiba they have had exellent customer service as well as no reliability issues to speak of. They are well made computers that don't break. Dell and Sony laptops in my experience have had many reliability problems, and that is why I chose a Toshiba.
This particular model is not exactly the most portible thing on the face of the planet. It is heavy, but I use it for my college dorm so I take it to and from school, and little else, so it works well for me.
It has all the bells and whistles you come to expect from a computer. A 1-Ghz Pentium 3 processor, CD-RW, DVD-Rom, USB ports, IEEE ports which are nice to have if you decide to get an additional drive, a flash media card drive, and your typical floppy disc drive. It came with alot of software, but lacking Microsoft Office Suite, which is apparently common these days, something to consider due to the program's high cost.
Basically, the Toshiba has not caused any headaches. Computer problems have a direct connection with my mood, and in general since I've gotten this computer I've been in a good mood. This laptop not only is relatively unobtrusive aestetically but mentally, which in my book is a good thing.
