I received an I Home as a gift for my birthday. i have to say, it was a good one. I travel a lot and I was constantly finding myself with an uncharged IPod. I would forget to charge it before heading on my trip. Now, with the IHome I can keep it docked right into the unit and it is always charged. Genius!!! I also enjoy the fact that I can wake up to the music of my choice. I am not always thrilled about waking up to the annoying alarm or to some horrible radio DJ. Now I can choose who I want to wake up to. In addition, I have to say that the design and color are pretty sleek. I don't feel like it takes up too much room, but it is still visually appealing to look at. The sound that comes out of the I Home is pretty decent too. i was afraid that the sound would be really tinny sounding. It wasn't at all. I think overall it is pretty easy to operate. Setting the clock was tricky the first time, but I have the hang of it now. the only real suggestion i have for new owners is to figure out how to turn down the light on the display BEFORE you go to sleep with it. The display light has multiple levels, but it can be REALLY bright in a dark room. It kept me up the whole night at first. Now I keep it on the lowest setting and it is perfect. I really like my I Home!!!
