boywonder717's Full Review: SDI iHome Battery Charger, Docking Station, Speake...
Our consumer market is flooded with thousands of products claiming to have everything you need in one simple product.Sometimes there are so many things in one that you wonder if you would ever need all of it. The iHome docking system comes with a radio, alarm clock, and can play as well as recharge your iPod. I recieved one shortly after getting my iPod and i fell in love with it. Its speakers sound great when playing the radio or my ipod, and the wheels used for tuning or raising the volume remind me of the circle on the ipod that you use for scrolling and selecting. Probably my favorite part of the iHome is the fact that I no longer have to use my computer to charge my ipod. One of the few drawbacks I ever had with my iPod was that it didn't come with a plug in charger and that I always had to get on the computer just to start charging it. Getting an iHome remedied this problem for me.At the end of the day, I could simply set my iPod on the docking station, set my alarm for the morning with my favorite song on my iPod waiting to play, and I would wake up the next morning to "Waking Up Is Hard To Do" with a fully charged iPod. The system also has an easy to reach snooze button and I like the way that the music gets progressively louder until I get up. All in all, I would say the iHome is a must have companion for any iPod lover.
