Pros: Good features. Feels like a quality device. Easy installation, anybody could do it.
Cons: Only one. The proprietary battery never
held a charge,
The Bottom Line: I believe it would be a best seller IF it were
designed with a conventional re-chargeable/regular battery AND either CF or Smart Card extra memory.

Only after purchasing the RIO 900 did I realize that the battery and the extra memory were both proprietary.
The ONLY thing I really disliked about the RIO 900 is the inability of the battery to hold a charge. After I purchased it I learned that the battery problem was a common complaint. I decided to return it for a full refund
and get something else. My suggestion to anyone buying an MP3 player is to get one with a conventional battery, where you can replace it yourself without requiring factory service. Another point to consider is to look for a player that uses conventional extra memory. If you go with the proprietary memory you will pay a premium when it's not necessary.
