| ragman69's Full Review: Rio 900 (192 MB) MP3 Player |
I purchased the Rio 900 as I was fed up of carrying my CD walkman around and a wallet full of CDs. I looked around and this unit seemed the best value for money. It had 192 meg memory and was being sold for CDN$229.
The unit only takes around 2 hours to fully charge and boasts a use time of 10 hours. If you expect to get 10 hours use out of this, then you're walking with your head in the clouds. I managed to get about 3 hours max use out of the unit.
The play, stop, forward and rewind buttons are very clumsy. Many times I pressed the forward button, only to have accidentally pressed the stop button. This was a pain.
I got fed up of the poor use time (3 hours max) and decided to take it back. I would be out and about and the dam unit would just stop. There is no way this unit lasts for 10 hours. I also managed to fit about 40 average length songs. It might sound alot, but when you're out everyday, you soon get sick of the songs.
