Sprint PCS Merlin S620

Pros:Works well has an internal antenna, not flip up. Cleaner lines.
Cons:It's one more card to carry, wish the capability were built into my laptop.
Signed up for Sprint EVDO service, November 2005. Got the S620 card for no charge, on a two year contract at $59.00 per month for the service. The S620 comes with an external antenna connection. Bought the $80 desktop antenna, about 6 inches high. Makes a noticeable improvement in connect speed. Some other cards may not have an external antenna jack, and if you are in a fringe area, you may just have to suffer. Verizon has the same card but calls it the V620. If you are really geekie there is a $40 cartop antenna.
