PS when used therapeutically these face the other way. The smooth side is on the chair. jo

Bonnie, I was going to mention that. Usually (at least the ones I've seen) are not round; they are square or more raised on one side than the other. I teach in many classes in which kids sit on them or some have access to them if they feel they need them. Thanks for pointing that out though. I didn't want to get into all that because I was trying to do this Lean and Mean w/o:) jo

There are other uses for this type of disc. I believe Pippadaisy wrote a review on a similar item awhile ago.
Occupational Therapists (OT's) who work with children who have autism and Sensory issues give them these discs to sit on while attending to task. It can be used for periods of 20 minutes at a time.
My son used one at school for one year and a few months ago I acquired another one and sent it off to another EP member.
