Pros:Very good looking watch
Cons:It does not work unless you constantly check it and update it throughout the day.
The Bottom Line: I would not make a purchase of any watch named Steinhausen again, so matter what the history of this company is.
I just got this watch 2 weeks ago. I run everyday, and i am now excepting the fact, that i must wind the watch. There are several problems, sometimes the minute hand stops moving. The second hand goes ticking away, but the minute hand doesn't move. I sat and watched it for 5 minutes and Nothing. Now the date doesn't move. I have to manually change it... sometimes though it does change... in the middle of the day, so then the date is a day off. It is so unreliable that i have to constantly check my cell phone to make sure the time is right. I thought maybe i had a one-in-a-million bad luck watches, but after reading other reviews i now know that i just bought a chinese watch that was packaged really well. Live and learn i suppose. One more thing to note, the piece that holds the band on actually screws together. Since you have to wind your watch everyday anyway my advice to you would be to make sure that they are screwed tightly together everyday as well. I lost half of one of those mechanisms. Luckily they did supply me with an additional set in the box. Now i know why. Think twice before you make the purchase. I have not been able to actually find a corporate website for the company, just a bunch of resellers of the watch. Good luck to you.
