Pros: Combines several devices into one. Makes travel easier. Inexpensive for its versatility.

Cons: Limited gear-hauling capacity.

The Bottom Line: If you travel with kids you must have this unit to avoid carrying the three or 4 different bulky items it replaces.

Why is this the best stroller-car seat? Because it's the only stroller-car seat. This item is unique and indispensable for travel. It can be used as a stroller, FAA airplane seat, booster seat at the table instead of a highchair and front or rear-facing car seat.

You wouldn't want to use this as your only stroller or car seat because it doesn't excel in either of these applications. As a stroller it has very limited cargo capacity. As a car seat the attachment is not as secure as with some other seats. But when traveling this item is indispensable.

The handle is not flimsy. It is designed to flex so that it can be steered with one hand while you use the other hand to pull your suitcase. I had no problem fitting it to either of my children. It attaches securely using the included clip to take up seatbelt slack.

Folding the wheels into the base takes some practice and either two people helping, or one person with good upper-body strength. You lift the seat with baby strapped in, tilt the wheels away from your body, squeeze the release bar and pull the wheels in. It's not hard if you're strong enough to lift the stroller with a kid in it.

There is nothing like popping your car seat out of the car, engaging a set of wheels and strolling off. If you regard this item specifically as a travel stroller/car seat and do not compare it to your regular stroller and car seat, you will quickly wonder how you could travel without it.
