You wouldn't want to use this as your only stroller or car seat because it doesn't excel in either of these applications. As a stroller it has very limited cargo capacity. As a car seat the attachment is not as secure as with some other seats. But when traveling this item is indispensable.

The handle is not flimsy. It is designed to flex so that it can be steered with one hand while you use the other hand to pull your suitcase. I had no problem fitting it to either of my children. It attaches securely using the included clip to take up seatbelt slack.

Folding the wheels into the base takes some practice and either two people helping, or one person with good upper-body strength. You lift the seat with baby strapped in, tilt the wheels away from your body, squeeze the release bar and pull the wheels in.
