| DnDn4kidz's Full Review: Safety 1st 3 Level Booster Seat |
We had never used a booster seat for our children before our fourth child came along. Funny how you just happen to do some things differently the second, third, heck..fourth time around. With my older three children, we just left them in their high chairs until they were 'big' enough to reach the table in a regular chair.
Well, Brittney, our youngest, decided she wanted to sit in a regular chair with everyone else. Problem was, she was too little to sit in the chair and safely reach the table. We decided to get her a booster seat.
There are many different types of booster seats out, but I wanted one that not only strapped my daughter to the booster seat, but that also strapped to the chair. Being a worry-wart, I can envision my daughter being in one of the 'strap-only-to-the-child' boosters, the chair falling over, booster seat falling off with my daughter strapped in it...ugh...not a pretty thought for a (over)protective mother!
The Safety 1st 3 Level Booster seat seemed to have all of the amenities we were looking for, and then some. This booster seat is awesome! The seat comes in four 'snap together' sturdy plastic pieces. It has mesh straps that secure the top and back of the booster seat to the chair, as well as a 't-strap' to secure your child to the seat. The booster has a high back and a three level adjustable seat. The only item the Safety 1st 3 Level Booster seat came with that we don't use is the removable tray. If we wanted to use a tray, we'd have kept our daughter in her high chair.
I would recommend the Safety 1st 3 Level Booster seat to anyone looking for a secure, comfortable booster seat for their child. The Safety 1st 3 Level Booster seat is great for the transition from high chair to table, and inexpensive enough that you won't be too disappointed when a month after purchasing one, your child decides they're too big even for a booster seat.
