| figlet's Full Review: Safety 1st Diaper Pail |
I recently bought a Safety 1st diaper pail after two friends raved about it. I was currently using the Fisher Price odorless pail.
My son is 11 months old and is constantly opening the top of the pail by pushing the button. I am very disturbed by this as it is very easy to stick your hands down into the pail and come in contact with the dirty diapers. Also while playing with the lid, it's easy to close your fingers in there.
When I purchased the pail, I didn't realize how easy it was to press the button to open the top. It claims to have a childproof lid. I now realize they are talking about the entire cover and not the hole where diapers are placed. I am switching back to my Fisher Price, which has a lid that my child cannot open.
