| osiris_1337's Full Review: Salomon Teneighty |
If you are into free skiing then these are the skis for you guys. I bought them at the midseason release in 00 and i've used em everytime ever since. If you want some serious skis that are wide enough to ski pow pow and solid enough to turn and burn and twin tipped so you can ski fakie, there is no question in my mind. Even if you dont want to do inverts and do jumps fakie these are very solid skis that respond very very well in the turns and powder. i like em, I used to have the X-Scream 9 series skis and i loved em but these are one step beyond. Absolutely amazing skis.
Looking for a new school tool, good for spins and jumps, half pipe riding and medium intensity carving? The Ten Eighty works great.
Salomon made the 1080 to have more flex in the front of the ski for cleaner push-offs, and a dynamic powerful tail for smooth landings. It features Single wall Monocoque Lite construction for a true self carrying structure for effortless edge grip. The 1080 also has a Dynamic Extended Power platform which transmits your skiing effort with the maximum liveliness.
Details:
-Monocoque Lite Composite Wall
-Dynamic Extended Power Platform
-Power Foam PU
-Structure SRB-W
-Designed transparent UHMW
-Twintip
-Metaflex
I love em and i hope that you will too!
