Pros: Great for people on special diets.
Cons: Too hard to clean, very messy, no temperature controls.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it to anyone that is restricted to a special diet. It does cut the grease out of foods, and keeps the taste in.

| gypsy357's Full Review: Salton Large Family Sized Grill GR-30 |
I was given the George Forman Grill for Christmas last year. I was curious about using it after seeing all the advertisments for the machine.
The first time I used it, I was very impressed. My husband and I both are diabetics, and sometimes when he is gone to work, its hard to find something thats easy to fix for me and 2 kids without fixing a big meal. That is where the Grill makes a world of difference. I have found that its great for chicken breasts, hamburgers, and steaks. My husband loves cooking bacon on it, as it gives it a much better taste than cooking it in the skillet.
The only downfall I see with it is the clean up. It can be quite messy, and given it can't be emersed in water, that makes cleaning difficult at times.
We make alot of grilled cheese sandwiches on it, and it can really be messy!
We have found also that its a great companion to take camping. It saves alot of time, and you can still eat healthy even while your away from home!
