My parents bought this indoor grill for my husband and I after we moved to an apartment community that would not allow us to use our outdoor gas grill. I am on a low fat diet and grilling was one of the easiest ways for me to prepare meals, so it was a wonderful and thoughtful gesture on my parents part. It does grill most things okay, although I found it to cook unevenly on cuts of meat that were thicker on one end even though the top of the grill is weighted to compress the food. The problem I had with the grill was cleaning it after use. If I had marinated something, like salmon, the marinate became a sticky film on the grill. The surface is coated so it cleans off without much of an effort, but I found wiping it down tedious and very messy. We have since moved to a home and have gone back to using our outdoor gas grill, but even on rainy days we forego cooking on the George Forman grill and have something we can cook on the stove instead.
